If you are interested in Data Visualization and you are a creative person, you may find this article interesting.

Because what I am going to share with you right now is something unconventional about what we often see every day at school, at least, which is the timetable.

I am so excited to share with you one of the designs I am proud of the most in thisĀ field.

Let’s get startedĀ ;)

Here is the academic timetable from Republic Polytechnic. The design is super clean and understandable. I have nothing to complain about it.

This traditional schedule is used for a long time and no one would bother to change it.

But, it’s time to apply Data visualization and let’s have fun with the data point, chart junk, circles, or evenĀ colours.

The main purpose of what I am trying to do here is just to visualize the timetable in a fun way.

Your task is let's play around with it, present it in such a way that is far different from the tradition and remember to apply the Data VisualizationĀ ;)

Let's start with the contentĀ first.

1ļøāƒ£ Separate the content into 2 big groups, which are Semester 1 and Semester 2.

2ļøāƒ£ After that, group the same information into categories. So we have Study Periods, Teaching weeks, Breaks, and Vacations.
